I am famous for making plans and goals and not carrying them out. I have failed more times than I would like to admit. This time I REFUSE to let that happen!!!!
My new goal (among others) is for health and a lower body weight. I have had five children now, and I never lost the weight in between each one. So, with each baby, I just got a little bigger and a little bigger.
I have been reading different nutrition books for a while now, and have finally taken the plunge. I joined Weight Watchers online two weeks ago today. I am excited to say, that I have also lost 10 pounds and an inch off of most areas of my body in those two weeks!!!! YAY!!!!!
I am determined that this will continue and I WILL see my ideal healthy weight some time in the near future! I am excited to dream about being in shape and having the energy to play with my children as I would like.
I will update when there are accomplishments! Maybe with my blog world as my accountability, I won't quit. I also ask for prayer. I KNOW I can do this with His strength. I KNOW if it is up to me, I will quit as soon as I have a few really bad days. I CAN and WILL make it this time!!! Please pray for me as I work toward health!

Another first...
Noah's firsts...
Noah got a new high chair!!! He has loved that he can be up high with us at meal times. We weren't feeding him yet here, so he played with toys on his tray while we ate.

SOS!
This weekend was definitely a chance to Save Our Sanity! Many of my good friends and fellow homeschooling moms got away from it all and enjoyed a relaxing weekend of fun! We rented a duplex cabin RIGHT on the Guadalupe River! We stayed up late, slept in late, and ate wonderful food (that we didn't slave over there). Some tubed, some rafted, some did both, some fished....there were games and laughing (lots and lots of laughing)....Sometimes, it was great to just sit out on the enormous, two story deck and look out over the river. It was like we were up in a tree house. It was sooo beautiful!
I still had Noah (5 months) with me, but still managed to thoroughly enjoy my time there. He actually did really great except for a few times of fussiness. Then, sweet friends were there to hold him and give me breaks. I think Noah enjoyed all the attention!
Well, you will have to wait until tomorrow for pictures. All that relaxing really made me tired! I need to get some beauty sleep so that I can jump right in to school and regular life in the morning. I am excited, though, it is always wonderful to be so missed. We will get some cleaning and some learning done tomorrow, but I hope to focus on some cuddle up and read together time too! You can't have too much of that!
